Aiken Luxury Rentals: Shaped by decades of Award-Winning Historic Restoration.

 In 2011, the future Aiken Luxury Rentals collection began with the acquisition of eight historic cottages in Aiken's Winter Colony. Through careful restoration, these homes became the foundation of the curated collection guests enjoy today. 

 Over the following eighteen months, every residence was restored with an emphasis on preserving original architectural details while introducing modern comfort and convenience. 

 Today, the restored cottages welcome professionals, executives, medical personnel, equestrians, and relocating guests from across the United States and around the world. 

Long before Aiken Luxury Rentals was established, our award-winning restoration projects in Augusta helped develop the preservation philosophy that continues to guide every ALR residence today. The Augusta  Cotton Exchange was in danger of demolition.

The restoration not only preserved the building, but uncovered many  important historic artifacts.

 The award-winning restoration of Augusta's historic Cotton Exchange became an important catalyst for the redevelopment of the Riverwalk district. That same vision later inspired the preservation and restoration of Aiken Luxury Rentals' collection of historic cottages in Aiken's Winter Colony.
